Description:

As a Senior Project Manager at Cooper Tacia General Contracting Company, you play a critical role within the Project Team by maintaining a thorough knowledge of construction projects and overseeing the efficient execution of contract requirements. You will report directly to our Operations Manager and work closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Administrator to complete projects on schedule and within budget. You will also be in charge of managing and mentoring a team of two Junior Project Managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide management direction for projects.
• Manage Jr. PM’s
• Establish project objectives.
• Negotiate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Maintain liaison with prime client contract.
• Schedule coordination.
• RFI submission.
• Submittal tracking.
• Monitor construction and financial activities.
• Accountable for maintaining budget and profitability goals.

Requirements

• Dynamic, professional leader with 5+ years of experience in construction project management
• Excellent Computer Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks is required
• Excellent organizational skills

Education:

• B.S. in Engineering and/or Construction Management is required

Qualifications:

• Able to understand construction drawings and specifications
• Has strong communication, negotiation, and mediation skills
• Possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
• Able to work productively independently and as part of a team
• Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
• Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities

Type: Full-time
Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 per year
