Project Details
Cooper Tacia played a key role in reimagining and revitalizing the LGBT Center of Raleigh, creating a vibrant hub for the LGBTQ community in Downtown. From early planning through final construction, our team worked collaboratively with Gensler, the architects on this project, to ensure that the vision for an inclusive, welcoming space was fully realized.
The completed center features updated facilities, dedicated computer access, community resources, food access and the largest LGBTQ library in the state. Every element of the project was guided by a commitment to equity, accessibility and community needs, resulting in a thoughtfully designed facility that supports connection, learning and advocacy.
Cooper Tacia also donated $300,000 toward the construction to ensure the new center would meet the vision of all those involved.
