Project Details
The new Richmond Juvenile Detention Center project is a 16,500 square feet facility. The scope includes the construction of a new youth detention facility featuring detention cells, dayrooms, classrooms, a lab/pharmacy, medical room, kitchen, laundry room, visitation area, and staff offices. In addition to the new building, the project involves the upfitting of an existing housing wing, the installation of a new outdoor basketball court, and various site improvements to support the facility’s long-term function and security.
