Why Join Our Raleigh Team?
Economic Opportunity
Cooper Tacia was founded in 2003 in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is now part of the second fastest growing region in the country. And for good reason. The Research Triangle boasts a diverse and vibrant economy with technology, life sciences, pharmaceutical, clean tech and advanced manufacturing companies, as well as significant healthcare and educational facilities. It is also a haven for entrepreneurs. And it has a 2.9 percent unemployment rate.
Top National Rankings
Raleigh was named the best-performing large city in the United States by the Milken Institute in 2025. Other top rankings in 2025 include: Number 1 Best City for Recent College Grads; 5th Best Large Metro for Women in Tech; and 3rd Best State Capital. In 2024, Raleigh was ranked 4th for Quality of Life; #2 Best Place to Live in America; and the #7 Healthiest City in the US.
High-Quality Education
The Wake County Public School System is ranked one of the best in the country and has an 88 percent high school graduation rate. Residents also have access to three major research universities – North Carolina State University in Raleigh, the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and Duke University in Durham – as well as nine other colleges and universities and eight community colleges in the region.
Housing and Recreation
While housing costs are rising, the region remains affordable compared to other major metropolitan areas, sparking an influx of new residents. Raleigh is also known for its parks and greenways, which are unmatched. Work has begun on the 306-acre Dix Park, which features the Gipson Play Plaza – an amazing outdoor play space.
Ease of Travel
With a growing airport, it is easy to access direct flights to locations around the country and a direct flight to Reykjavik, Iceland, is making it easy to access locations throughout Europe.
Sports
If you like college sports and NHL hockey, this is the place for you. Teams from NC State, Duke and UNC create rivalries and passion, while the Carolina Hurricanes bring the region together as we cheer on our incredible hockey team. Work is currently underway to create a sports and entertainment district at the Lenovo Center, home to NC State Basketball and the Canes. We’re also big fans of the Carolina Courage, our women’s NWSL team.
Southern Charm
The region is also known for its great restaurants led by James Beard award winners, its breweries and distilleries, and its sense of community. While Raleigh is a growing city, it has Southern charm. It’s the kind of place where strangers say hi and smile while you’re walking your dog, you’re in the grocery store or you’re picking up your kids at school. People always remark about how nice everyone is. You’ll always feel right at home.
Why Join Our Atlanta Team?
Economic Opportunity
Atlanta is the headquarters for major companies such as Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, CNN and Home Depot. It also has a growing tech scene, earning it the name “Silicon Peach.”
The region is also known for its thriving research facilities and healthcare industry. It has a 3.3 percent unemployment rate, lower than the national average.
Top Educational Institutions
Prestigious schools such as Georgia Tech, Emory University and Spelman College are located here, providing access to higher education opportunities with name brands. The public school system, which is ranked above average, serves almost 55,000 students at 103 schools, including public schools, charter schools and single-gender academies.
Ease of Travel

History and Experiences
Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta. His impact and the history of the civil rights movement is captured at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, which is currently undergoing a major expansion. The center features the papers and artifacts of MLK, as well as immersive exhibitions that have an unforgettable impact.
Next door is the Georgia Aquarium, a memorable experience for kids and those who are kids at heart. Other must-see sites include the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, the Farmer’s Market, the College Football Hall of Fame, the World of Coca Cola, the Fernbank Science Center and the Atlanta Zoo.
Recreational Opportunities
If you love the outdoors, you will never get enough of Piedmont Park and its walking and biking trails. Hundreds of events are hosted here annually including the Atlanta Ice Cream Festival, the Atlanta Jazz Festival and Music Midtown. Another experience that residents rave about is the Atlanta Beltline, a 22-mile multi-use trail that was built on a former railway corridor. Walk, run, ride a bike, take an exercise class, enjoy the public art, visit the shops and restaurants at Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market. There’s something for everyone on the Beltline – including your furry friend.
Sports
Atlanta is home to four professional sports teams: the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks and, the newest addition, the Atlanta United FC. The Braves new stadium is located at the Battery, a mixed-use development where you’ll also find the Coca-Cola Roxy, a live music venue; the Punch Bowl Social with bowling, arcade games and karaoke; Live! At the Battery Atlanta, which features a mechanical bull-riding experience; Topgolf; and tons of eateries.
Quality of Life
There is plenty to do, see and experience in Atlanta. The city has 242 distinct neighborhoods and there are many suburbs surrounding Atlanta that are known for their mix of housing options, great schools, charming downtowns and family-friendly activities. Restaurants abound. It’s a leading hip hop and R&B hub. And the winters are mild. There are lots of reasons to love Atlanta and all it offers its residents.
