Cooper Tacia was contracted to perform comprehensive civil sitework for a new industrial/commercial development on the Aiken site in South Carolina. The project encompassed the full civil scope across approximately 14 acres of utilized land. Stormwater management featured the construction of two major stormwater ponds designed in accordance with South Carolina civil engineering standards to handle runoff and provide necessary detention.
Drainage infrastructure involved the installation of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 30-inch storm drain piping, along with 2,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer piping. Access improvements included constructing approximately 5,000 linear feet of transportation driveway to support site ingress/egress and operational needs.
Additional civil work on the Aiken site included storm pipe installation throughout the development, placing base materials on driveway and parking areas, grading and grassing sloped areas for erosion control and stabilization, completing under-slab electrical preparations, and performing footer preparation and pouring for associated structures.
