Project Details
Cooper Tacia was approached by Van and Vanvisa Nolintha to help with the construction of their new Laotian restaurant in an existing historic storefront in downtown Raleigh. The design of the space was completed by the talented architectural team at in situ studio. The project consists of 1,800 SF main dining space is divided into two distinct zones for drinking and dining, with the dining space being further subdivided into three distinct spaces. The main material feature of the space is three tons of locally harvested sticks that wrap the walls of the dining area and shroud the bar. The project is award-winning and has been featured in Design Magazine.
