Project Details
Cooper Tacia was approached by Gaurav Patel of Eschelon Experiences to construct The Haymaker, his company’s newest concept, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Architectural services were provided by Bret Page Architecture. The interior design was completed by Eschelon’s Creative Director, Dustin Slemp.
The space is located on the bottom floor of the Charter Square building on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. Construction took place while a restaurant was being constructed next door and utilities had to be brought into the space through an actively used underground parking lot beneath the building. A lot of the work had to be carefully coordinated with several other contractors working in the same spaces. A few features include: custom-designed steel bar cage, custom trim work, wall paneling and wainscoting, a mural wall, a curtain wall, marble countertops, custom printed wallpaper, refurbished antique lighting, and velvet banquettes.
