Cooper Tacia was approached by Gregory Hamm of Chef Hamm Inc. to construct his newest restaurant venue, P.G. Werth’s.
The project was designed by architect Rusty Long. The space is located near the corner of Morgan and Hillsborough Streets near downtown Raleigh, NC. The project was a first-time fit-up in a recently completed building and the installation of a new grease trap in an active drive, as well as many hole cuts through an existing post-tension concrete roof slab, were the project’s biggest challenges. A few features of the space include custom wainscoting, stonework, custom millwork, a catering scale kitchen, and a coffee bar.
